A wooden interactive dog Puzzle for very large pets treat dispenser 35 cm long x 20 cm wide x 5.5 cm tall, painted with non toxic paint and finished with a clear non toxic food safe varnish. This is designed to make your pet think how to solve the puzzle for it’s reward.  All the movement buttons are well spaced for large paws with a pattern and colour that your pet sees. With 9 hidden food slots, made from laser quality MDF and Poplar faced Plywood for the wear surfaces,  also it will not be around in 1000 years time unlike plastic.

The dogs only see in grey scale, some yellow and a lot more blue, other colours are not visible to dogs. (dichromatic vision) also patterns are important This puzzle is aimed at LARGER pets and is designed with larger sliding parts which are more challenging to complete for a large pet.

The Dog Puzzle  is to be used with dry dog food only and please supervise your dog at all times.

Thanks for buying our pet puzzle these puzzles are made from responsively locally sourced material (for example the MDF is an off cut from the manufacture of school and hospital furniture ). The carbon foot print is as low as an individual can get.

We recommend that at first show your pet where the treat is and leave the ONE tray open with a treat in 2/6 tries then partly cover the tray until your pet start to understand what is required, to open the tray with his nose. Some pets take a lot longer to train (young puppies for example) and this process could take a few days of training. When not in use it is best to remove the Pet Puzzle as this helps with training. Also the sit command prior to use I found is also helpful. As your pet feels the world with their mouth this could help reduce chewing. Please note that dogs mainly see in grey scale and some shades of blue and a really dirty yellow colour by using these colours you can focus their attention
